From concept to functional CAD design

Do you miss the internal skills or design software to generate your next optical design? Are you running out of resources? Our affiliated optics design partners are here to help visualize your project and to generate your CAD file for fabrication!

1. Project Intake

Understanding your needs and getting introduced. Have your solution ideas present for discussion or evaluation. A first assessment will be done, providing you with an future outlook on the project!

2. Feasibility Study

The various technical solutions and options are evaluated. In fact, a “go” or “no-go” will be provided. Suggested solutions for the concept design, including budget estimates, will emerge from this phase.

3. Raytracing

The output of the Feasibility Study is the foundation for further visualization. It includes a raytrace of the intended functionality and generation of an .IES file containing all the light characteristics.

4. Conceptual Design

We were able to satisfy you we move on to generate the final design of your part(s). The resulting outcome is a Computed Aided File (CAD), that will serve as input for the manufacturing process.

5. Rapid Prototyping

We have received your ‘’GO’’ for the design work and we will define and prototype the components that will brought to you by advanced additive of subtractive fabrication methodologies.

6. Series Manufacture

The prototype is validated and we arrange your pre-series production. Afterwards, the full concept is carried over to a manufacturing partner, or we facilitate the volume manufacturing of your parts.
